NIBFA Cup fixtures take president over league fixtures with postponed matches being placed at the end of the seasons fixture list. The league would however encourage teams without NIBFA fixtures to explore the opportunities of bringing other fixtures forward, against teams who may find themselves in a similar position. Good Luck to all NWCDYL teams for their NIBFA campaigns.
There will be no fixtures for the Under 10 mini league on Saturday 31st October as The Vale Centre is closed for Halloween.
All Limavady fixtures were postponed on 17.10.09 as a mark of respect due to the sudden death of their coach, David Nichol. We wish to convey our condolences to David's family and those connected to Limavady's youth football teams.
We have been approached by a few coaches in relation to entrance exams and the disruption that they will cause to the fixtures for the under 11 and U12 / 13 leagues. The league committee are due to meet on Monday 19th and will circulate guidance there after, It is generally felt that a common sense approach should be used. As long as teams communicate early enough so that clubs do not incur expenses we should be moving in the right direction. Feel free to contact us with your thoughts on this.
Eglinton Eagles under 11 team has had to withdraw from the league due to external pressures. The league is being restructured and as a result advertised fixtures may be subject to change.
New Buildings under 12 team has withdrawn from the league with out playing a fixture.
Donemana have been granted permission to change their under 12 team to a under 13 team allowing them to play 97`s.
The league feel that it is not in the theirs or individual teams interest to advertise heavy defeats. We want to balance this and encourage the development of young teams and not demoralise them but want to ensure we promote the league has teams capable of competing with the best. As a result of this we limit the goal difference displayed on this site to 5. Goal difference will not be used to decide the outcome of the league titles but if needed play offs will be used to determine league winners.
